PRACTITIONER: VERIFICATIONS

All Inclusive Salary package (R): R 365 163 – R 478 653 Per Annum
Benefits: The successful candidate may structure the total package for a 13th cheque. Housing, medical aid, and pension allowance are included in the total package.

Objective: The South African Qualifications Authority (SAQA) is a statutory public entity that operates under the NQF Act, No. 67 of 2008. SAQA seeks to appoint a Practitioner: Verifications. The successful candidate will perform duties and functions related to achieving the objectives of the Authentication Services unit, such as verifying qualifications and responding to related enquiries.


Requirements are: The most eligible candidate must hold an appropriate recognised qualification at NQF Level 5 on the 10 Level NQF or Level 4 on the 8 Level NQF, or equivalent.
An NQF Level 6 qualification on the 10 Level NQF or Level 5 on the 8 Level NQF will be an added advantage.
A minimum of two years experience in data capturing or information management is required.
More than two years of data capturing, information management and verification of qualifications will be an added advantage.
The incumbent must have a good knowledge of verifications quality standards and procedures.
Computer literacy, time management, problem-solving, attention to detail and good written and verbal communication should be the strengths of those aspiring for this appointment.
Duties : • Plan, organise, and document activities to ensure the necessary focus, achievement of delivery targets, and availability of performance data.
• Receive verification request, check the quality of the submission, process verification request, and determine further necessary actions.
• Complete the necessary administration and quality checks to facilitate ease of further review and conclusion.
• Do market research to expand Information Partners relationships.
• Contact existing information partners to obtain verifications of qualification achievements.
• Establish, maintain and improve business processes, procedures, systems, and formats.
• Attend to standard client queries, in accordance with processes and procedures.
• Maintain professional working relationships with clients and Information Partners.
• Capture client interaction information for continuous improvement of the service.
