Practitioner: Information Administration and Management
All Inclusive Salary package (R): 30 430.25 per month

Contract Type: Temporary
Objective: To assist with the process of getting data into the NQF Management Information System (MIS), as well as providing additional capacity in the unit for one month.

Required education - Level 5 on the 10 Level NQF or Level 4 on the 8 Level NQF, or equivalent An NQF Level 6 qualification on the 10 Level NQF or Level 5 on the 8 Level NQF will be an added advantage Required experience – A minimum of 2 years’ experience in data quality and information administration and management More than two years of relevant experience will be an added advantage. |
| Duties : |
• Manage the data loads process by ensuring data provided by data suppliers are timeously and accurately loaded into the MIS • Resolve issues that routinely arise after data loads • Monitor the accuracy, completeness, and currency of all relevant information in the MIS and ensure that they reflect SAQA’s business rules • Register (and where required, re-register and de-register) approved qualifications on the NQF • Implement scripts for the cleaning or updating of data on the National Learners Records Database (NLRD) • Provide information management and advisory services to professional bodies and other data suppliers • Maintain the Register of Misrepresented Qualifications and accept monthly data loads from SAQA and the QCs • Maintain the Register of Fraudulent Qualifications and accept data loads from the Department of Justice as required • Provide support to the input functions of the information system and databases, including providing systems specifications, testing, and quality assurance • Support other SAQA units in the preparation of user manuals/guidelines for data capturing, loading, and other input tasks • Manage relationships with internal stakeholders and act as a bridge between users and developers of the information system and associated databases • Support data management, data quality, and completeness initiatives for the SAQA MIS that will deliver accurate, timely, consistent, and quality data |
