Objective: To assist the Ratification of Foreign Qualifications sub-unit in the Authentication and Ratification Services Unit with the day-to-day comparison process of foreign qualifications.
| Requirements are: |
Level 5 on the 10 Level NQF or Level 4 on the 8 Level NQF, or equivalent. An NQF Level 6 qualification on the 10 Level NQF or Level 5 on the 8 Level NQF will be an added advantage. A minimum of one year of experience in data capturing or information management is required. More than one year of relevant experience will be an added advantage. |
| Duties : |
Evaluation of foreign qualifications, including but not limited to: • Allocating of files and country specialisations • Drafting letters • Verifying the authenticity of foreign qualification awards • Conducting research and seeking additional information as needed • Conducting document reviews in the absence of verification responses from information partners • Seeking accreditation status of foreign institutions and verifying the status of foreign qualifications • Carrying out the work required for the revocation of SAQA Certificates of Evaluation • Conducting the research required for the processing of appeals • Assisting stakeholders and information partners with queries • Assisting applicants with queries • Responding to emails received through the foreign institutions mailbox • Printing of SAQA Certificates of Evaluation |
