ADMINISTRATION OFFICER: CONTACT CENTRE SUPPORT

All Inclusive Salary package (R): R 26 729.41 per month

Contract Type: 4 Month Fixed Term Contract (01 April 2019 - 31 July 2019)
Objective: A fixed term contract exists within the Directorate: Foreign Qualifications, Evaluation and Advisory Services for a person who will use relevant modes of technologies to provide support to non-visiting clients of the directorate.


Requirements are: Eligible candidates will have a relevant qualification at NQF Level 5 qualification or equivalent, e.g. in Customer Care / Contact Centre Support / Public Relations / Marketing, together with one year of relevant experience in customer care, public relations or marketing.
Linguistic proficiency (English), computer proficiency, organising, conflict management, time management, negotiation skills, problem solving, a sense of urgency, attention to detail, a methodical disposition and good interpersonal relations should be among the strengths of those aspiring for appointment.
Knowledge of a foreign language such as French or Portuguese is an advantage.
Duties : The key activities are to:
- Ensure prompt and professional responses to incoming telephone calls received on the contact centre line, evaluate client needs and facilitate these by providing relevant and accurate information while proactively managing expectations
- Ensure follow up of enquiries and the resolution of issues in an amicable and efficient way
- Ensure prompt and high quality responses to e-mail enquiries received in the directorate e-mailboxes
- Ensure follow-up with clients when information to respond is not readily available
- Ensure prompt and high quality responses to social media enquiries
- Share ownership for continuous improvement of the service by soliciting and reporting feedback on client experiences
- Feedback information for continuous improvement of the service as this is acquired through client behaviours in response to particular issues and also through use of the available technologies
