SECRETARY: EXECUTIVE OFFICE

All Inclusive Salary package (R): R253 451

Objective: A vacancy exists within the Directorate: Executive Office (EO) for a person to provide professional and efficient secretarial and reception services, which include organising and co-ordinating the SAQA Board, Committees, and Executive Office meetings and providing logistical and administrative support.


Requirements are: The most eligible candidate should have an appropriate NQF Level 5 qualification of a Secretarial Certificate or equivalent with at least 3 years experience including reception/telephonist experience.
Qualifying candidates must be computer literate and have excellent administrative, communication, time management, telephone etiquette, problem solving and letter writing skills.
Also, central to this position, is the ability to effectively deal with various stakeholders, and so being customer focused is an additional requirement.
Duties : - Provide secretarial services such as typing, photocopying, faxing, and filing as per routine office procedures;
- Screen and respond to incoming calls, provide information and/or transfer to appropriate staff members;
- Provide office administration support ;
- Provide secretarial support;
- Be in attendance at the Executive Office reception area and ensure a professional image; and
- Co-ordinate arrangements and provide logistical support to the office of the Chief Executive Officer, and other Executive Office staff as required
