All Inclusive Salary package (R): R 474,723.00

Objective: A vacancy exists within the Directorate of Information Technology for a person who will implement, monitor and upgrade IT hardware and software; administer a multi-platform Windows and Linux environment; manage service level agreements with service providers; manage operational level agreements with internal clients; and implement and monitor IT policies.

The most eligible candidate must have a relevant tertiary qualification NQF level 6 or higher or equivalent in the Information Technology field of study. A minimum of three years working experience in an IT environment is a must. Knowledge of local area networks (LAN) and wide area networks (WAN) in a Microsoft Windows and Linux environment is a must. IT Systems certification for example A+, Network+, MCSE, Cisco Certification, ITIL or COBIT will be to the candidate’s advantage. Administration, problem solving, decision making, communication, and analytical presentation skills are further prerequisites. |

• Implement, upgrade and monitor IT hardware and software in a multi-platform Windows and Linux environment; • Manage service level agreements with service providers; • Provide user training and support; and • IT incident and problem resolution. |
