ADMINISTRATION OFFICER: FACILITIES

All Inclusive Salary package (R): R 280 953

Objective: A position for an Administration Officer Facilities exists within the Directorate Finance and Administration to provide administration support in servicing SAQA facilities in respect of tenants, service providers, help – desk and ad hoc duties as required.


Requirements are: The most eligible candidate must have a relevant NQF level 5 or above facilities related qualification or equivalent.
The successful candidate must have at least two (2) years experience of working in facilities.
Good Customer focus and the ability to solve problems, excellent administrative skills, good and written communication, self motivation and the ability to cope with pressure should be the strengths of those aspiring for appointment to this position.
Duties : • Administer the provision of cleaning material and consumables to cleaning staff.
• Ensure that the effective document management practices are applied.
• Accompany, monitor and supervise providers’ activities on the premises as directed.
• Monitor and respond to e-mail requests and complaints by ensuring that all matters are speedily resolved as per directives issued by the Deputy Director: Facilities.
• Monitor/administer on-site activities of service providers as per agreed SLA’s.
• Administer the SAQA Facilities in terms of the Health and Safety Act.
