ADMINISTRATION OFFICER: DATA ANALYSIS & BULK VERIFICATIONS

All Inclusive Salary package (R): R 261 109

Contract Type: Fixed Term Contract until 31 March 2017
Objective: A vacancy for an Administrative Officer exists within the Verifications Project for a person who will do Bulk verifications and extract and analyse data from the Verification database in accordance with requests and specifications.


Requirements are: The most eligible candidate must have an appropriate qualification in Data Management/ Analysis or Information Management at NQF Level 5, or equivalent, with six months exposure/ experience in the field of data analysis or information management.
Knowledge and methodical application of MS Excel and MS Access, at an intermediate level, including filtering, formulas, pivot tables and graphs, as well as skills in SQL at a basic level, must be the strengths of those aspiring for appointment.
Knowledge of OEM, SAS or SPSS will be advantageous.
Experience with large databases and an understanding of the National Qualifications Framework will also be advantageous.
The successful applicant must have attention to detail, be methodical, be a team player and be customer focused.
Duties : • Extract data from the database, according to requests and specifications
• Analyse the data extracts by producing cross-tabulations and graphs
• Produce scheduled reports
• Participate in data-related projects within the Verifications Project
• Do Bulk verifications
